Notice to Remedy Violations (Site Instruction)
When the technical supervisor finds work that does not comply with the design or the rules, a written notice with clear deadlines is the way to get it fixed — and the evidence if it isn't. List the violations, attach photos and download the notice.

One violation per row
For each violation, give three things: what is wrong, which drawing or rule it breaches, and the deadline. "Vapour barrier overlap less than 100 mm — design sheet 4 — by 14 October" is a notice a foreman can act on. "Poor quality of work" is not.
Safety comes first
Violations that put people at risk — unfenced edges, work at height without protection — should get the shortest deadline, often the same day, and may justify stopping the work. The notice includes a standard line that subsequent work affected by the violations must not proceed until they are fixed.
Closing the notice
Ask the contractor to confirm in writing when each item is fixed, then check on site. Keep the notice, the confirmation and photos together — they form the quality record for that stage.
